Homemade Croutons are so easy to make from stale bread with this simple and customizable recipe! Oven baked until golden and crispy, these crunchy croutons are the perfect addition to all your favorite soups and salads.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 15x21 baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the cut bread to the pan then mix the garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper in a small bowl and sprinkle it on top of the bread.
Drizzle the oil on top then toss the bread around to coat completely.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the croutons are light and golden in color.
Serve over your favorite soup or salad.
Notes
NOTE: To get stale bread, cut the bread into cubes then lay it out on a baking pan for 3-4 hours or overnight, flipping it halfway through before using it.NOTE: These croutons can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
