Made this with Jasmine rice, and followed the recipe exactly, but it came out very mushy (although flavor was good). Only thing I can think of that may have caused this is because I rinsed the rice before putting it into the pot, which the instructions on the Basmati rice packages reccomends. Next time ill try it without rinsing.

I’ve been using chicken noodle soup in place of chicken broth. I add an extra cup to offset the additional ingredients in the soup.

Making this for dinner tonight and have a question…is it grated parmesan like what comes in a can OR is it shredded parmesan? The picture makes it look like shredded so just want to make sure!

Made this tonight with breasts and thighs, brown rice (cooked as posted above) and spinach. Somehow I did not have any broccoli in the house, which was weird. But, I had fresh spinach. It was good! Did not have any leftover. I think the broccoli would add some texture that the spinach didn’t. But, it was still very good! Was creamy and almost a risotto texture to the rice.
