I just made this today and it was very good. I didn’t add the shredded cheese to the crockpot. I added a little cheese to each bowl before serving. Thank you for sharing! Will definitely make again!!

Absolutely amazing recipe. I’ve made this through out the years (I follow the recipe to the T). I’ve had 3 different people say it’s the best potato soup they’ve ever had and I agree. The fresh chives and bacon are essential. Thank you for this recipe I come back to it all the time!

Mine looked a little gross (the cheese didn’t really melt and I added bacon bits so it looks a little grainy/chunky) but it tastes fire, I’ve never had a potato soup with chicken broth as a base

I would leave out the corn starch next time I make this…made it too thick..

Excellent recipe. Easy and delicious. Everyone in my family loved it. Definitely comfort food.
