Super easy. I ended up with 8 large biscuits, I weighed them so they averaged 65 grams before I popped them in the oven. I doubled the baking time. The garlic powder definitely came through. I would actual double the amount of salt in the batter. Using them for sausage gravy and biscuits, and these are definitely going to work perfectly.

Whipped these up and had it with gumbo. It was absolutely perfect. What a fantastic quick recipe!

A couple of days ago I made a pot of soup and really wanted some biscuits to have with it. Additionally, I did NOT want to leave my house for any ingredients I did not already have in my pantry. I stumbled on this recipe and first loved the simplicity of it. Then when we tasted the biscuit it was wonderful! My wife and I inhaled them. Safe to say, these will land in regular rotation, especially when I’m feeling lazy and still want something that tastes really good.

I can’t make any bread, biscuit, roll, etc…but I was successful at your recipe I did minus the garlic, for breakfast purposes. The fam was loading up all the butter, jam and fixuns. Can we double the size or will that mess them up?

I was making them ahead for some biscuits with sausage gravy in the morning and of course, I had to try one tonight and they are delicious! I have eaten two more tonight. I couldn’t help myself 😆. I anticipate making more batches in the near future.

These are great biscuits and as stated easy! I had all the ingredients on hand and they cooked great with the texture you expect from drop biscuits. This is a perfect base you can omit the garlic, add cinnamon or honey to make a sweet snack or breakfast biscuit! Love it!

Quick and easy with minimal ingredients! Omit the garlic powder if you want these for breakfast. They are light and fluffy, and yummy with some homemade jam, and PERFECT for biscuits and gravy.
