I wish I could give this more than five stars. Every so often I stumble across a cookie recipe so good it becomes a benchmark for excellent cookie recipes, a new gold standard, cookies that have the perfect taste and texture. This one blows the rest away by a long shot. I doubled the cinnamon. Absolutely stunning recipe. These cookies are show-stoppers, truly.

Ok, my last review of these were bad, but it MUST have been ME, doing something wrong, because I just made these again tonight and they came out DELECTABLE!! SUPERYUM! A keeper recipe for sure!!

Is there anything to replace butter in the butterscotch cookie recipe? My husband has high cholesterol and I have been substituting the oil with applesauce. The cookies are not as good and are very soft.

This recipe was so good, that it has become my base recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I do a full teaspoon of cinnamon, instead of 1/2. They are delicious!

I never leave reviews, but felt like I should for this one simply because my husband said these cookies were “godlike”. He’s brutally honest and these were his all time favorites. Great recipe.

Delicious! SO yummy and buttery. I was craving butterscotch something for weeks and finally made these and ti was worth it! These will be a staple in my cookie book from now on.

These cookies were AMAZING! I’m pregnant and have been craving some butterscotch cookies.. these hit the spot & received rave reviews from everyone I’ve shared them with! I subbed 1:1 GF flour for my own diet restrictions and they were perfect.
