These bars are soooo good. I’ve made them many times. Great for a pot luck. I also added them to my Christmas Cookie tray. A nice contrast to all the chocolate. I double the recipie and bake in a 9×13. Turn out great!

I am wondering what I did wrong. These came out dripping in butter! 1 full cup (2 sticks); correct?
Did anyone else have this issue? These bars are FANTASTIC, but they were just too buttery!

Can you double the recipe and use a 9×13 pan? Any modifications needed.

Cooking time is a little inaccurate since it didn’t accommodate the crust cooling time. I started them at 8pm at night and they weren’t ready till 1030 – 11 that’s way more than 1hr and 20mins
